ShareBaby Collection Day

The Fell’s Point Residents Association Community Service Initiative for the month of April is throwing its First “Baby Shower” .  The collection will be held  to benefit ShareBaby.  Look for the Red Collection Wagon at the entrance to the Farmer’s Market from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on April 17th & April 24th.

ShareBaby was founded in November 2013 by three local moms that wanted to share new or gently used baby item with families in need. ShareBaby provides diapers, clothing and gear to highly effective organizations working to ensure that Baltimore’s young children get a good start in life.

ShareBaby started Baltimore’s first Diaper Bank.  Did you know that 1 in every 3 families struggle to provide enough diapers to keep their children healthy and dry.

Over 33% of the children in Baltimore grow up in poverty within families that struggle to meet their basic needs.

At the end of 2019 ShareBaby distributed over 2 million essentials items to Baltimore’s neediest young children.  That number will be even higher because of the pandemic.

What can we do to help ShareBaby share the love?

We can hold a “Baby Shower” of sorts.

What will we be collecting?

Items most needed:

·  Diapers & Pull-Ups (All sizes)

·  Diaper Wipes

·  Baby, Shampoo, Lotion and Diaper Rash Cream (New & unopened)

·  Bibs

·  Swaddling Blankets

·  Sippy training cups

·  Bottles

·  Teething Rings
