Hello Fell’s Point Community Members,
For the past year and a half, Fells Point Main Street, Waterfront Partnership, and Baltimore City Representatives have been working with the University of Maryland and the city to explore ways to mitigate nuisance flooding in Fells Point.
Through the Maryland Coastal Resilience Planning project, Fells Point was one of about 10 sites selected across Maryland to assess nuisance flooding and develop mitigation strategies. We received some very valuable information that we would like to share with the community.
I invite you all to a 45-minute Zoom meeting on May 13th at 6 pm to learn more about the project from the team at the University of Maryland, Waterfront Partnerships' efforts for a Healthy Harbor, and the resilience projects proposed by the Environmental Engineering team.
